A SPEECH BY MS. ZUMAKPEH JANICE TO CLIMAX THE CLOSE OF THE PROGRAM “2016 NURSING TECHNIQUES FOR DEVELOPING COUNTRIES”.
Chairperson, representatives of government present chief Director/president of Shandong Qianfoshan Hospital and his team, distinguished invited quest, fellow participants, ladies and gentleman.尊敬的卫计委领导、山东省千佛山医院院长、各位来宾，女士们先生们：
I am Ms. Janice Zumakpeh from team Ghana and I am highly honored to deliver this little but important speech for this all important occasion “2016 NURSING TECHNIQUES FOR DEVELOPING COUNTRIES”. The purpose of this speech is to highlight a few but important events and experience we have gained here as participants from developing countries.
我是来自加纳的詹尼丝，很荣幸在2016年发展中国家护理技术培训班闭幕式上发表讲话。我们将一起重温那些重要事件以及我们所有来自发展中国家的学员在此获得的经历。
First of all I will like to thank God for bringing us here and see this training to a successful end. I will like to commend the Director and the entire team of Shandong Qianfoshan Hospital for hosting this prestigious program. We have been here for two months. A team of 32 participants from diverse developing countries who came with high hopes and expectations to acquire knowledge and skills to improve our practice back home. The dedicated and hardworking staff of Shandong Qianfoshan Hospital has been with us through this two month journey. They strived so hard to meet our needs, expectations and hopes and by God’s grace our training has come to a successful end.
首先， 怀着感恩的心来到到这里,我们一同见证培训班的圆满结束。感谢山东省千佛山医院院长和整个团队成功举办此次项目。在此两月之久，我们32位来自不同国家的学员满怀期望，获得知识和技术以促进本国实践。乐于奉献、辛勤工作的山东省千佛山医院员工与我们一同走完了两个月的旅程，她们尽力满足我们的需求和期望，培训班圆满结束。
I speak for the whole team when I say we have learnt a lot from this training program. There is so much we have accumulated to take back to improve our skills in our respective countries and hospitals. I cannot talk about everything; hence I will mention a few.
在此我想代表我们整个团队说，此次培训项目让我们获益良多，我们积累了很多带回各自国家以便提升的技能，下面我将简单列举几个
Quality nursing care, humanistic nursing care, proper assessment of patients, complete bedside nursing, incident report, blending traditional Chinese medicine with western medicine, and accurate emergency management a few of the many items we learnt. These were easy to be taught to us by the dedicated staff of Qianfoshan hospital because they are a part of their normal practice of health care delivery. No wonder they have been awarded quite a number of times for quality nursing care or on efforts related to quality nursing care.
优质护理、人文护理、患者准确评估、床旁护理、不良事件上报、中西医结合、细致的急诊管理是我们学习的诸多内容中的一部分。千佛山医院的老师为我们讲解这些时如数家珍，因为这正是她们日常实践的内容。她们多次被授予优质护理服务相关荣誉，这与她们的优质护理实践是分不开的。
One thing that amazed and interests me most in the practice of quality health care delivery in this hospital is humanistic patient care. The warm smile, the comforting hug, the therapeutic touch and the sincere reassurance blends perfectly with the modernization phase of the hospital. This is very evident with the hospitals practice of traditional Chinese medicine. This system has been incorporated with the modern medical system to create a hybrid health care system which is unique of Shandong Qianfoshan hospital .humanistic care coupled with a patient centered health care delivery system is characteristic of this hospital which explains the high rate of patient satisfaction observed during our training period.
在贵院优质护理服务中最令我惊讶和感兴趣的是患者人文护理，温暖的微笑、真诚的拥抱与安慰与现代化的医院完美融合。贵院的传统中医也是如此，与现代医学完美整合为千医独特的医护服务系统。人文护理与以患者为中心共同诠释了患者的高满意度。
It was an honor for all 32 of us to be taught by the President Assistant Xu Cuiping, the vice directors and the entire nursing team of Shandong Qianfoshan hospital. The team dedicated their time, resources and materials to teach us theoretically and practically. Our experience, quantity of information learnt and most importantly the quality of the information tremendously increased in a pace of two months.
院长助理许翠萍、护理部副主任们和整个护理团队亲自为我们授课，我们倍感荣幸。千医护理团队在理论和实践授课中奉献了大量时间、资源和素材。我们的经历、获得的信息量尤其是信息的质量在这短短两个月得到了巨大提升。
To my colleagues, thank you for tolerating each other and making up an interesting class of ‘2016 NURSING TECHNIQUES FOR DEVELOPING COUNTRIES’. Make good use of the knowledge and skills acquired here and keep in touch.
谢谢我的同事们彼此包容，组成了2016年发展中国家护理技术培训班这个有趣的班级。我们将充分利用在此获得的知识和技能并保持联系。
It is programs like this that increases the strength of friendship between countries. On behalf of the entire team I want to thank the organizers of this program; the government of China, various organizations (both governmental and non-governmental) and Shandong Provincial Qianfoshan hospital for organizing this training and helping to bring it to a successful end.
你们精心组织了本次培训班，并且最终圆满成功，这也增进了国家之间的友谊。在此，我谨代表全体团队成员，感谢此次活动组织方，感谢中国政府，感谢各种政府和非政府组织，以及山东省千佛山医院!
